As we gear up for a summer season of dance, we are excited to share a series of Master Classes taught by industry experts. These master classes are special one-time, online classes all students are invited to sign up for. Be sure to enroll in the parent portal to participate!
Lyrical with Paul

This class will challenge the dancers to use motion to interpret music and express emotion, attempting to show the meaning of the music. It will touch on certain emotions such as love, and tells a story through the dance movement made.
Paul Michael Gibbs has always loved Performing and Teaching. He began his training at the age of 8 in his native Wilmington, Delaware at Christina Cultural Arts Center and The Anna Marie Dance Studio. In 2001, at the age of 15, Paul started attending the Broadway Theater Project, under the artistic direction of Ann Reinking, where he received instruction from legends including Ben Vereen and Gregory Hines. He studied Dance and Musical Theatre in Delaware, Philadelphia, New York, Florida, and California . He moved to California at 17 and attended California Pacific School of the Performance Arts (the college of The Young Americans) for vocal performance, while simultaneously doing a Los Angeles Dance Force Scholarship at the EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. Since then, he has had the honor of performing and teaching Nationally and Internationally with Smokey Joe\u2019s Cafe, Little Shop of Horrors, Dreamgirls, and Into the Woods, and toured Internationally with The Original USA Gospel Singers and The Young Americans Inc. and their Music Outreach Tours in places such as England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, all across the United States, and most recently Japan. While living in New York City, he worked and taught in schools such as Broadway Dance Center and the King Centre for Performing Arts. He is currently a Show Director and Event Manager for Spotlight Dance Cup, living in Denver, Colorado, and is so excited to continue on the path of Performing and Dance Education.
Join us for unique Irish and Tap classes that result in a special Irish & Tap Showcase on July 24th. Dancers are invited to sign up for both Irish & Tap class, or just one. In the Irish class, dancers will learn styles of Irish dancing that include different styles of Irish dancing including Jigs, Rells, Hornpipes and more. In the tap class, students will learn original choreography by the Copasetics, “Copasetics Chair Dance”. This piece is done by sitting in a chair and tapping out rhythmic phrases, a fun, and difficult dance to learn at home. Registration for the Tap class includes a special review session on July 24th for the Tap & Irish Showcase at 2:45. Each class is $35 or $20 if both classes are taken.
