A St. Patrick’s Day Dance Showcase

The event was a stellar display of Irish dance artistry, featuring a diverse range of performances that truly exemplified the academy's commitment to sharing the love and passion for dance to all.

Under the tutelage of the academy's accomplished tap and Irish teacher, Corinne Karon, our Irish dancers executed both hard and soft shoe routines, imbuing each step with precision and artistry. Soloist Meghan Hart's captivating interpretation of Ed Sheeran's "Galway Girl" was a standout performance, showcasing her impressive talent and skill.

The evening also included an exciting jazz and lovely lyrical piece choreographed by Allyssa Millar, performed by the Company I Dancers.  Company ballet dancers, Claire Beardsley and Monica Young, delivered outstanding ballet variations en pointe from the ballets Paquita and Coppelia, respectfully.

The show also featured a contemporary solo, "Earth," choreographed by Annie Mcgillian, and performed with passion and emotion by Gracie McGillian. Additionally, the performance included an engaging historical overview of Irish dance, along with interactive sing-alongs and the and exciting door prizes.
