CVDA Company Ballet dancers participated in the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival this past weekend. Dancers spent three days in the city of brotherly love taking dance classes taught by industry professionals. This festival provided a diverse array of master classes for dancers including ballroom, Bollywood, Afro Beat, Ballet, and our dancers' favorite of the weekend, Caribbean.

Hosted at Drexel University, the Philadelphia Youth Dance Festival aims to further enhance young artists' knowledge and appreciation of dance culture. The festival hires Philadelphia based teachers, many of which are connected with a Professional Company and /or University. By doing so, dancers are given exposure to the professional world of Philadelphia Dance.
