A Showcase of Talent and Progress

At Chester Valley Dance Academy, our annual Recital is a highly anticipated event for both students and their loved ones. Each class showcases their talent by performing a carefully choreographed dance number that they have been working on throughout the year. It's a great opportunity for our young dancers to showcase their hard work and progress in front of a supportive audience of family and friends. While participation in the Recital is not mandatory, we find that many of our students enjoy the chance to shine on stage. Please note that Combo I and IA classes have a separate end-of-year showing to allow our youngest performers to showcase their skills in a more intimate setting. Whether your child is performing in the Recital or simply attending as a spectator, it is sure to be a memorable and exciting experience for everyone involved.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsal Week at CVDA

Friday, May 15 - Thursday, May 21

Arrival Time: All dancers must arrive at the studio 10 minutes before their scheduled rehearsal time. 

  • These rehearsals are mandatory. Dress rehearsals ensure costumes, spacing, hair, and makeup are all stage ready
  • Arrive with hair and makeup completed. There is no time to do this at the studio.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early so rehearsals can start on time.

Combo 2/2A and Combo 3 Classes: There will be a 10-minute meeting at the end of your child’s regular class time to go over final notes and answer questions. A parent or guardian is required to attend.

  • Friday, June 5: Company Showcase 7:30pm
  • Saturday, June 6: Recital Show A at 11:30 am
  • Saturday, June 6: Recital Show B at 3:30pm
  • Saturday, June 6:  Recital Show C at 7:30pm
