On behalf of all the teachers and staff of the Chester Valley Dance Academy, LLC, I would like to welcome you and your child to our facility. Exposing your child to the art of dance at a young age will help your child develop motor skills, coordination, confidence, and imagination. Our goal is to assure that our young students enjoy their first dance experience in a fun and structured atmosphere.

I am pleased to announce the Chester Valley Dance Academy, LLC has located its studio at 130 S. Village Avenue, Lionville. Our dance studio is in the Downingtown School District and is located near Lionville Middle School and Downingtown East High School. CVDA's convenient location allows students from West Chester, Phoenixville, Lionville, Downingtown, and Chester Springs to participate in dance class. This 6800 sq. ft. building includes 4 spacious dance studios, changing rooms, a homework area, parent waiting room and much more. As always, you will be able to view the progress of your child through a one way mirror and now on surveillance cameras. My teachers and I will continue to provide special care to our families by giving them the finest instruction available.

Each class from our Combo classes to our advanced Company Classes are created to engage students in the art of dance and create a positive environment for growth.

Dancers will grow artistically at CVDA with the help of our expert faculty. Our teachers provide special care to our families by giving them the finest instruction available. Class instructors provide close attention to dancers in each class and build an environment full of excitement and passion for dance.
Spacious Facilities
CVDA is located at 130 S. Village Avenue off of Route 100. Our dance studio is located in the Downingtown School District and is located near Lionville Middle School and Downingtown East High School. This 6800 sq. ft. building includes 4 spacious dance studios, changing rooms, a homework area, parent waiting room and much more. Parents and guardians can view the progress of their child through a one way mirror and on surveillance cameras. Our studio offers free wifi for our parents and students.

Performance Opportunities
Dancers at Chester Valley Dance Academy, have many unique performance opportunities throughout the year. Pre-School level dancers through our advanced Company students are able to have their time in the spotlight every year. Every class performs a dance number in our annual Recital. While this is not a requirement, many students enjoy participating in the show. Chester Valley produces an annual production of the Nutcracker which is a favorite holiday tradition among the studio, dancers, and local communities. Dancers in our advanced Company have the opportunity to dance in numerous festivals and conventions and travel around the country to experience different styles of dance.
Past Performances
CVDA's current students have had outstanding performance opportunities at a variety of prestigious venues and events. These include captivating audiences at renowned locations like Dance Excellence in Los Angeles, both Disney World and Disneyland, as well as televised parades in Philadelphia. Our students also extend their talents to local outreach programs, gracing the stages of the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville and the Baby Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE among others. Their dedication to dance has translated into successes at competitions, with numerous 1st place and Platinum Awards earned at events like New York City Dance Alliance, Youth American Grand Prix, and Starpower Nationals, and ELEVATE Dance Competition.

CVDA's dedication to cultivating talent has led to flourishing careers, with our alumni consistently venturing into the boundless realms of dance following their training at our studio.
Members of CVDA have garnered impressive acceptances at prestigious institutions including the Hampton Dance Festival, Central Pennsylvania Youth Program, Houston Ballet Academy, American Ballet Theater, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, San Francisco Ballet School, Boston Ballet, Kirov Academy in Washington D.C., Pacific Northwest Ballet School, Joffrey Ballet School, Pennsylvania Governors School for the Arts, and the Kaatsbaan International Dance Festival.
Our dancers have not only received numerous scholarships from distinguished summer programs and colleges like the Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C., Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, Hobart and William Smith Colleges in NY, Houston Ballet Theatre in Houston, TX, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA but have also successfully transitioned into professional careers as teachers and performers at institutions such as the Young Americans in Los Angeles, CA, Seattle Ballet Company, Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Pennsylvania Ballet Company, Allentown Dance Conservatory, Contempra Dance Theatre, Rennie Harris’ Puremovement Dance Company, Pacific Northwest Ballet Company, and Bob Rizzo’s Learning Video Series. The CVDA alumni continue to make their mark in the world of dance, exemplifying the excellence instilled during their time at our academy.
