PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL
Dancers at Chester Valley Dance Academy, LLC, have many unique performance opportunities throughout the year. Pre-School level dancers to our advanced Company students are able to have their time in the spotlight every year.
The Nutcracker
A Family Tradition
Every year the studio performs the magical story of E.T.A. Hoffman’s The Nutcracker. Dancers ages 7 and up are invited to perform with us and take part in this feature-length Ballet.
Recital
An Annual Showcase
Every class performs a dance number in our annual Recital. Invite family and friends to watch your children perform. Students are not required to take part in this performance; however, many students enjoy participating in the show.
The Company
The Advanced Performing Group
Dancers in our Company have the opportunity to dance in numerous festivals and conventions and travel around the country to experience different styles of dance.
The Combo Show
Your Little One's Special Day
This performance is a special end of year showcase for our Combo I & IA dance classes. This small, intimate setting allows these younger dancers to perform for their friends and family without the nerves and stressors of a larger venue. This showcase includes a class demonstration, a routine performed by your little stars, and a presentation of flowers and certificates for each young dancer. These little ones are also treated to two performances by our Company Dancers and can watch these girls up close!
Senior Showcase
A Final Farewell
This special show highlights our Senior Class and allows each senior to perform a solo or small group dance. Separate from our Recital, this special performance takes place in an intimate setting that allows parent sand family members to watch their graduate dance up close one last time before the end of the year. This family event includes our Juniors introducing each Senior dancer, Senior Speeches, and words of wisdom and best wishes given by our Faculty and Staff. The show ends with a presentation of the Senior class in their Prom Gowns.
