Introducing Our New Summer Dance Intensives
This summer, Chester Valley Dance Academy is excited to offer a fresh take on our dance intensives! We’re introducing two dynamic programs tailored to different dance styles and goals. Dancers can explore the vibrant world of jazz, hip-hop, heels, and other commercial dance styles in our 3-day Commercial Dance Intensive. For those looking to refine their technique in classical disciplines, the four-day Classical Dance Intensive will focus on ballet, modern, and contemporary dance. With something for every dancer, this summer promises to be an inspiring and transformative experience!
Commercial Dance Intensive
Step into the spotlight with our 3-day Commercial Dance Intensive! This program is designed for dancers who want to explore the exciting world of commercial dance styles. From high-energy jazz to cutting-edge hip-hop, each class will focus on enhancing your performance skills and versatility. With expert instructors and choreography inspired by the industry’s best, this intensive promises to be as challenging as it is fun. Perfect for dancers eager to develop their stage presence and express themselves in dynamic ways!

Classical Dance Intensive
Throughout the intensive, dancers will train in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, heels, and commercial choreography. Classes will focus on technique, artistry, strength, flexibility, musicality, and performance skills, while also exposing students to different approaches and styles within the dance industry.

Our Intensives Include
Expert Faculty
Dancers will grow artistically during the CVDA Intensive with the help of our expert faculty. Our guest artists introduce our students to new techniques and enhance their repertoire. The faculty for this intensive includes some of the region's most highly-regarded dance educators and choreographers, who will provide dancers with guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the intensive.
New Choreography
Our instructors are known for their innovative choreography and dynamic movement phrases that challenge and inspire dancers to push beyond their limits. Their choreography and movement phrases are designed to push dancers to new heights, helping them develop their technical skills and expressiveness. You'll be challenged to explore new ways of moving, experiment with different dynamics and textures, and develop your own artistic voice as a performer.
Individualized Attention
We understand the importance of individualized attention and growth in a dancer's journey. That's why, to maximize your training experience, we've divided our students based on grade, in the current school year, and ability into three Intensive groups. This allows dancers to receive direct feedback from our renowned guest instructors, ensuring your dance education is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
