Chester Valley Dance Academy

Every year the studio performs the magical story of E.T.A. Hoffman’s The Nutcracker.  Dancers ages 7 and up are invited to perform with us and take part in this feature-length Ballet. Students who wish to participate in the Nutcracker must take ballet during the summer session.  Please know that your attendance during the summer classes will be taken into consideration at the time of the audition, especially our upper-level classes.

Please arrive ½ hour prior to your audition time to sign-up and be measured. Parents must accompany the students to the audition. Audition and Rehearsal Uniform: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, pointe shoes (if applicable) and hair in a bun.

Nutcracker 2019 Information Packet

Nutcracker Audition Registration is available online and credit cards may be used for payment.  Therefore, there is an additional $10 fee to all regsitrations placed online.  Our Nutcracker Participation Fee is still $295, however, those paying online will pay the additional online processing fee for a total of $305.
