CVDA Company Dancers shine at ELEVATE Dance Competition

Throughout the year, Chester Valley Dance Academy Company dancers participate in various shows, competitions, and performances, both in and outside the studio. These opportunities not only help the dancers grow as performers but also expose them to the wider dance community, helping them build connections and develop a sense of camaraderie.

Last weekend, CVDA Company dancers competed at in the ELEVATE Dance Competition in Phoenixville, showcasing their exceptional skills and artistry to a panel of esteemed judges. The competition was a wonderful experience for our performers, with each dancer accolades for their performances.

CVDA's focus on providing additional performance opportunities to its serious dancers is a testament to the studio's commitment to nurturing its students' talent and passion for dance. It is this dedication that sets CVDA apart and helps its dancers achieve their full potential as performers.

We congratulate the following dancers on their performance and thank the choreographers who created beautiful, personalized works on these dancers to make their strengths shine on stage. Gracie McGillian performed a modern routine, Earth, choreographed by Annie McGillian. Mia Marchesani performed a jazz dance, Desperado, choreographed by Allyssa Millar. Julianna Lane performed a ballet dance, Water's Edge, choreographed by Kim Martin. Camila Greene and Claire Beardsley performed ballet variations from Sleeping Beauty and Paquita, respectively, staged by Kim Martin.

We are excited to return to ELEVATE at their Lancaster competition on May 6th and 7th to showcase more solos, duets, trios, and group dances.
