The Chester Valley Dance Academy is a family run business which was established in 1988 to provide quality dance education in a sensitive and friendly atmosphere. We are dedicated to promoting the art of dance, the positive benefits of physical fitness, nurturing talent, self-esteem, academic responsibilities, and proper social values.
Dancers will grow artistically at CVDA with the help of our expert faculty. Our teachers provide special care to our families by giving them the finest instruction available. Class instructors provide close attention to dancers in each class and build an environment full of excitement and passion for dance.
CVDA offers dance classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, and Irish Step.
Chester Valley Dance Academy offers Mommy & Me Classes and Pre-School Dance. Pre-School Classes are designed to introduce students to the art of dance. These classes enhance a student's creative ability, attention span, physical mobility and musical comprehension. Students also learn classroom etiquette, cooperation skills, and memorization. The class length is forty-five minutes long with an emphasis on ballet and an incorporation of tap. Combo classes have the opportunity to perform at a special end of the year showcase.
Teen classes are perfect for students who are looking to explore dance for the first time or have limited dance experience. We offer hip hop, jazz, ballet, tap, and musical theater for teenagers who are looking to explore dance and have a great after school activity to look forward to each week. Register with a friend to enjoy a fun class and get a great workout.
