CVDA Company Jazz I and Company Lyrical/Modern I performed this weekend at the Academy of Notre Dame's Fall Dance Festival on Friday, September 15th. This festival features performances by the Academy of Notre Dame's Dance Company, Angela Bates Dance Academy, and Chester Valley Dance Academy. It marked the perfect curtain-raiser to a new year brimming with exciting performance opportunities, and our students were positively elated to take center stage at this intimate outdoor gathering.

Company Jazz I performed "Clap Clap" choreographed by Allyssa Millar. Abigail Hall, a senior at Notre Dame Academy and a Captain of their Dance Company performed a solo, "Memoriam", choreographed by Kim Martin. Company Lyrical/Modern I performed "Tonight" also choreographed by Allyssa Millar. Each of these performances highlighted our dancer's technical strength and their innate ability to captivate through their performance skills..

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to Miss Pam Devenney, the director of Dance at Notre Dame Academy, and a cherished member of our CVDA faculty for many years. Her dedication and tireless efforts in organizing and hosting this magnificent event played an instrumental role in its success. We are also immensely grateful to everyone who graced us with their presence in the audience, infusing the atmosphere with an electric energy that elevated the evening to extraordinary heights.
