Rebecca Haftl - Ballet
Rebecca Haftl started her training at her local YMCA taking ballet/tap classes until joining Chester Valley Dance Academy in Exton, PA (2007-2015). She took ballet, jazz, and lyrical, and was part of CVDA’s Company. She later attended year-round programs and summer intensives at The Philadelphia Ballet School, Miami City Ballet School, Chautauqua Institution, and The School of American Ballet in New York City, NY. She danced George Balanchine’s “Scherzo à la Russe,” Corps, in New York City Ballet’s Fall Gala (2022) and George Balanchine’s “Symphony in C,” 1st Movement Finale Demi, in The School of American Ballet's Workshop (2022). She now is an Apprentice with the Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas, NV where she performed in Ben Stevenson’s “Dracula,” Bride and Villager (2022), James Canfield’s “The Nutcracker,” Party Guest, Snow, Flower, and Spanish (2022), and Sidra Bell’s World Premier “Intimacy with Strangers” (2023). She also currently is a Penn State World Campus student pursuing a degree in Business Management.
