Summer Kids Programs

We provide our students with a dance foundation, intertwined with fun throughout the day and prioritize the quality of dance education in the studio to improve your child's non-academic intelligence over the Summer months. These theme dance weeks are designed to introduce your child to ballet, tap, jazz, and acting with activities that are fun for the summer months. Each week will include arts & crafts geared toward the theme of the week, outside water activities, and a special picnic. Students attending must be potty trained and age 3 by January 2025 to attend.

Program Details

Dates + Times | Each program runs Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. See specific dates below.
Tuition | $230 per program. Save $10 when you register and pay by March 1st.
Ages | 3+. Each program will be broken down into age-appropriate groups during activity time during the week (ex. ages 3-6 and 7-10).
Medical Release Form | Please complete this form and bring it to the first day of the program.

June 22 - 26

Get ready to groove at Puppy Dance Party Week featuring the lovable and energetic Bluey! This tail-wagging celebration is packed with high-energy dance classes where kids can learn fun routines inspired by their favorite pup, plus creative arts and crafts sessions to decorate dance party gear and make colorful keepsakes. Throughout the week, little partygoers will enjoy music, movement games, imaginative play, and plenty of chances to laugh, learn, and make new friends—just like Bluey and her family do. It’s the perfect mix of creativity, confidence-building fun, and nonstop puppy-powered excitement!

August 3 - 7

Step into the spotlight during Pop Star Week (K-Pop Version) and experience the excitement of training like a true global idol! Inspired by the high-energy world of K-Pop with a fun, action-packed twist inspired by the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters, each day is packed with dynamic dance rehearsals, vocal training, and superstar-style performance challenges. Kids will learn powerful choreography influenced by iconic K-Pop stages, build confidence through vocal coaching, and create themed arts and crafts that channel bold stage fashion and fantasy flair. From fierce dance battles to teamwork missions worthy of idol heroes, every moment blends creativity, skill-building, and nonstop energy. It’s a week of shining bright, performing with confidence, and unleashing your inner K-Pop star!

July 6 - 10

Join us for a week of magic, music, and imagination! Step into a world of sparkling wands, shimmering spells, and enchanted adventures as we dance down the yellow brick road with our magical friends. Campers will explore the joy of friendship, self-discovery, and creativity through themed crafts, upbeat dance routines, and inspiring music. This week is filled with excitement and positivity, from learning to 'fly' to creating glowing wands. Perfect for young dreamers who love glitter, sparkles, and adventure!

Ann Fonash

Miss Ann infuses magic and excitement into our Kids Summer Programs and year-round classes at Chester Valley Dance Academy. Whether teaching our combo or pre-dance classes, she creates an enchanting atmosphere that captivates and inspires our young dancers. Miss Ann is committed to fostering a love of dance in every child and believes in the importance of building confidence and self-esteem through movement and performance. Her dedication to her students is evident in the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere she cultivates in her classes. When Ann is not spending time teaching at CVDA she serves Chester County, PA, and the surrounding areas as a licensed Realtor®. Having grown up in Chester County and teaching dance to thousands of students for the past 30 years she has a deep connection to the community and a great understanding of the local real estate market.

Clothing and Hair

Children should be dressed to be able to move freely and dance. They may also dress up each day to fit the theme of the week (ex. fairy wings, princess dress up outfits). Students with long hair should wear it secured away form their face, in a ponytail or similar style. Parents will be notified which day of the week is the special water day, in which students are encouraged to bring a bathing suit and towel.

Shoes

Please have your child wear comfortable clothes they can dance in and that can get “messy”. If you have dance shoes bring them: if not, you can wear sneakers with socks. No flip-flops allowed.

Snacks and Food

Please bring a bag lunch every day with a snack and drink (no refrigeration is available- only for those with special diets/medications). NO PEANUTS PRODUCTS. We have children with allergies to peanuts and ingredients in cakes and cookies. PLEASE speak to your children about not sharing any food with anyone.

Drop Off and Pick Up

On Monday, the first day of each program, we ask you to please park in the parking lot starting in the back of the building and walk your child around to the front porch for drop-off at 9:00 am where there is a mandatory first day check-in procedure. Tuesday-Friday, drop off is at 9:00 am and pick up is a 12:00 pm with a maximum 5-minute window.
