Now Casting: Angels in the Nutcracker

First Rehearsal on Saturday, September 28 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Chester Valley Dance Academy is seeking more dancers to join our Nutcracker production as Angels! This is a magical opportunity for young dancers to shine on stage in one of the most beloved holiday traditions. We’re accepting students ages 5-7 with at least one year of dance experience to fill this special role. It’s a wonderful way for your child to build confidence, make memories, and experience the joy of performing! Don’t miss out on this enchanting opportunity to share the stage with the Sugar Plum Fairy—space is limited, so sign up before the first rehearsal on Saturday, September 28 in the Parent Portal under the class "Nutcracker/Angles". Performance and Commitment Details

Rehearsals will begin at the CVDA studio on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 from 11:30-12:30. Additional rehearsals will be posted on our website's Nutcracker Rehearsal Schedule page. Please note there will be a Dress Rehearsal at the studio for all Angles on Saturday, November 23rd. For more information, please call the office at 610-594-2771.

There will be approximately 10 rehearsals. It is necessary for participating children to attend all rehearsals. If they have more than 2 unexcused absences, they will forfeit participation in the show. There will be no rehearsal on the weekend of Thanksgiving.

A non-refundable fee of $200.00 will be charged to all participating Angels. This fee covers rehearsal time, all costume preparations, and use of CVDA costumes.  Students must supply their own ballet shoes and tights.

If your child is interested in performing in the Chester Valley Dance Academy's 2024 Nutcracker Ballet and is able to commit to the scheduled rehearsals, please enroll on the parent portal for the Nutcracker/Angel class choice and your child will be enrolled. Once confirmed, you will see the charge for participation in your portal.  Payment should be made prior to the first rehearsal.
