Mommy + Me

Wednesdays, 10:30 - 11:15 am

An interactive dance class for children 24 to 36 months and their guardian.  This class will incorporate props and unique musical games to develop your child’s creativity.  It is an introduction to the art of dance in a loving and nurturing environment.

Pre-Dance (Ages 3-7)

Pre-School Classes are forty-five minutes long and are designed to introduce students to the foundational movements of ballet and tap. These classes enhance a student’s creative ability, attention span, physical mobility and musical comprehension. Students also learn classroom etiquette, cooperation skills, and memorization.

Teen Dance

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theater

We offer dance classes just for teenagers that make the perfect after school activity. No experience is necessary to participate in one of our teen classes.  Teens are invited to take ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop - our most popular teen class at CVDA, and musical theater. Register with a friend this fall to enjoy a great class each week that will get teens up and moving!

Adult Dance

Tap: Wednesdays, 8:30 - 9:15 pm

Swap your sneakers for dance shoes this fall, get your steps in, meet new people, and have fun! Chester Valley Dance Academy is proud to offer adult tap dance for adults with some or no dance experience.

Individuals who take dance classes have the unique opportunity to enhance their body awareness and coordination as well as their agility, mobility, and flexibility. Tap dance, specifically, helps you stay light on your feet by practicing quick weight shifts and tones leg muscles. Did you know the legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant took tap classes? Tap dance helps loosen the ankles and work many small muscles that strengthens the lower body. Tap dance makes an excellent activity for adults looking for a new fitness experience.
