Chester Valley Dance Academy is excited to announce a fresh lineup of summer programs designed for dancers of all ages and skill levels! Our Summer Kids Programs offer fun and engaging activities for our youngest dancers, providing a creative outlet while building foundational skills. For more advanced students, our newly reimagined intensives include a 3-day Commercial Dance Intensive featuring jazz, hip-hop, and heels, and a 4-day Classical Dance Intensive focused on ballet, modern, and contemporary styles. Aspiring performers will love our Musical Theater Program, which combines singing, acting, and dance for a dynamic on-stage experience. Additionally, our Six-Week Session is perfect for those looking to maintain their training over the summer, with a variety of class options to suit different interests. There's something for everyone at CVDA this summer—don’t miss out!
Kids Summer Programs
A Camp for Everyone! We offer day programs for boys and girls ages 3 through 10. Each program includes arts and crafts, games, movement activities, and more! All camps run for one week, Monday-Friday, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Commercial Dance Intensive
Step into the spotlight with our 3-day Commercial Dance Intensive! This program is designed for dancers who want to explore the exciting world of commercial dance styles. From high-energy jazz to cutting-edge hip-hop and the confidence-building art of dancing in heels, each class will focus on enhancing your performance skills and versatility. With expert instructors and choreography inspired by the industry’s best, this intensive promises to be as challenging as it is fun. Perfect for dancers eager to develop their stage presence and express themselves in dynamic ways!

Classical Dance Intensive
Immerse yourself in the artistry and technique of classical dance during our four-day Classical Dance Intensive. This program focuses on the foundational styles of ballet, modern, and contemporary dance, offering dancers the opportunity to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of these timeless forms. Through a blend of technique classes, repertoire, and choreography sessions, participants will enhance their strength, grace, and creativity. Whether you’re preparing for auditions or simply aiming to elevate your craft, this intensive will provide a rewarding and enriching experience.

Musical Theater Program
Immerse yourself in a five-day workshop with industry professionals culminating in a performance for family and friends. Hone your acting, singing, and dance technique and receive feedback from professionals to enhance your performing skills. This program assists the students when auditioning for their school plays. Some of our participants have received lead roles in their in their school productions this year. In each class, you’ll take voice lessons from a professional musician and learn the songs to popular Broadway musicals, learn choreography and stage some scenes to learn and enhance your acting from an industry professional. You’ll have the opportunity to perform all you have learned for family and friends

- This summer will feature scenes from “Carousel”, “Little Miss Sunshine”, “Mary Poppins” and more.
6-Week Session
Our summer session helps students stay in shape and continue their dance training. All styles of dance are offered for all ages. It is advised that students register for the same level they took during the 2023-24 year. As a reminder, students interested in auditioning for the Nutcracker must take a summer ballet class. New students should call the office at 610-594-2771 for placement.
